Mogadishu — Soldiers of Somali interim federal government on Saturday killed at least two civilian people in the Somali capital Mogadishu, witnesses said.
The killing came after some of Somali soldiers opened fire a businessman at his shop in Mogadishu’s Dharkenley district after refusing to meet soldiers’ demand to pay tax.
Witnesses said that another died after hitting him came from the gunfire of Somali soldiers.
After the shootout, the government soldiers escaped from the scene.
No statements about the killing of the civilians by soldiers were immediately available from the government so far.
