Khartoum — An agricultural delegation including 50 officials in various agricultural sectors, Sudanese Farmers’ Union and the agricultural companies working in the country has left Friday for China.
The delegation five-day tour aims to get informed on the international technologies in the various fields of agriculture as China is one of the most advanced country in the field of agricultural technology. The tour is also induced by the Sudan orientation to import modern technologies and to indigenize agricultural technologyA delegation member Engineer Siddiq Ali Ahmed explained, in statements to the press, that the delegation would pay visits to the different agricultural sectors in China using most modern agricultural technologies in the world.
He pointed out that the delegation will get acquainted with working experiences in the field of irrigation technology and food processingEngineer Ahmed added that the delegation would also introduce to the concerned Chinese circles the agricultural investment opportunities in the various states of Sudan, Sudan’s agricultural potentials in general and the agricultural development Sudan is now witnessing.
