Luanda — The current framework characterised by obstacles and perspectives of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTS) in the country will top the 16-18 May National Forum, dubbed “Angotic/2011”, to be held in Luanda.
According to a note distributed by the Ministry of Telecommunication and Information Technologies, the event will coincide with the International Telecommunications and Information Society day, on 17 May.
The workshop will boost actions on the use of information and communication technologies to ensure the inclusion of all Angolans as well as the country’s socio-economic development.
The source stressed that the meeting will also provide an environment of exchange of knowledge on how the information technologies incentive new standard of social behaviour.
The opening ceremony will be chaired by the incumbent minister, José Carvalho da Rocha and will gather government officials, staff of the sector and guests from civil society.
