With the end of the season approaching and supporters weighing up their club’s campaign, Goal.com decided to take a look at who has been Arsenal‘s stand-out player this term.
After deliberating on three players, Jack Wilshere pipped Samir Nasri and Wojciech Szczesny to be named the club’s Player of the Season.
Goal.com then decided to ask you to have your say by voting for who should be named Arsenal’s Player of the Year.
And a massive 54.83 per cent chose Wilshere as their best player for the Gunners this season, with the youngster impressing after cementing his place in the starting line-up for both club and country.
Meanwhile, 28.86% of readers feel that Nasri is more deserving of the honour, the Frenchman having starred for the Gunners in the first half of the season and scored 15 goals in 44 appearances in all competitions.
A small number of readers, just 6.08%, voted for Wojciech Szczesny as their player of the season. The goalkeeper claimed the No.1 position at the club and has kept nine clean sheets in 23 appearances for the club this term.
And 10.22% felt that someone else is more deserving of the honour.
