Caxito — About five hectares of arable land will be delivered to the Association of Support to the Ex-Combatants of FAPLA (ASCOFA) by the provincial government of Bengo, under the Programme to fight hunger and poverty.
The information was given on Wednesday in Caxito, province of Bengo by the spokesman of ASCOFA, Fernando Siquila saying that the project will benefit 200 ex-soldiers.
Fernando Siquila said that the act of delivery will happen on 20 May in the town of Porto-Kipiri, municipality of Dande.
The official said that ASCOFA is a strategic partner of government in consultation programs for reintegration of the communities of ex-combatants of FAPLA in the sectors of farming, fisheries, industry, professional training, health, culture and sport.
The association controls countrywide 122,000 members and continues to work on the implementation of housing projects and livestock.
