Luanda — The administrator of the National Agency for Private Investment (Anip) Dealdino Balombo, Wednesday, here, stressed the focus on domestic production rather than export as a medium and long term solution for the gap recorded in the economy between these two factors.

According to Dealdino Balombo, who was speaking at the seminar under the theme “The university and business,” one of the achievements of the Angolan Government to overcome this gap was the creation of Special Economic Zones (ZEE), which are a model of sustainable institutional and administrative development.

With the creation of the ZEE, said the administrator of Anip, the country will begin to stop being an importer of raw materials and exporting finished products made from their own raw materials.

He also emphasized, among others, the Special Economic Zones of Viana and Cacuaco (Luanda), Icolo-e-Bengo, Dande, Ambriz and Nambuangogo (Bengo).

The seminar, which is a co-organization of Agostinho Neto University and the company INOVISA, has the institutional support of the Ministry of Petroleum
