Fatou Mbye, 5-year-old girl and a resident of Yundum Village, Kombo North of the West Coast Region is urgently in need of overseas treatment.
According to a medical report issued from the RVTH the patient, Fatou Mbye was born with imperforate anus on metroaqine fistulae. The physical examination revealed colostomy and imperforate anus and she need abdomino-perineal operation in good condition.
Yassin Ceesay, mother of the victim, said her daughter suffers discrimination among her peers which makes her isolated. She added that Fatou doesn’t go to school due to the illness.
She therefore appealed to the government, NGOs, individuals, philanthropists and organisations to come to her daughter’s aid.
