The Editor of the Daily Guide Newspaper, Fortune Alimi, has been attacked by armed robbers.
The attack took place at his residence on the Bush road behind the Trade Fair Center at La around 1:30 am on Wednesday.
Speaking to Adom News on Wednesday, Mr. Alimi said some of the residents who were awake saw the robbers and started shouting for help which woke others in the neighbourhood who alerted the police.
According to him, the police were able to arrest one suspect.
On the identity of the arrested robber and what might have been the motive for the attack, Fortune said the suspect feigned dumbness when he was asked to speak and refused to talk.
The Accra police are said to be investigating the case.
