Baird was booked for a challenge on Dirk Kuyt
Fulham defender Chris Baird has been charged by the Football Association with using an abusive and/or insulting gesture towards a match official.
The alleged incident occurred during Monday’s Premier League defeat against Liverpool at Craven Cottage.
The Northern Ireland international reacted to a booking by appearing to make a v-sign gesture at referee Lee Mason.
Baird has until 1800 BST on Thursday to respond to the charge.
