Emmanuel Frimpong believes that the key to fellow midfielder Jack Wilshere‘s success at Arsenal is his consistency.
The Ghana-born player insists that there are other players in the Gunners’ reserves who, on their day, can match the England international in terms of quality, but admits that the challenge is to put in such performances on a regular basis.
“The thing that is different between Jack and most of the Arsenal Reserve players is that he is very consistent,” Frimpong told Arsenal TV Online.
“You hardly ever see him have a bad game.
“We have got lots of players in the Reserves that are very good players, in my opinion even as good as Jack on their day. But they don’t have that day as often and that is where the difference is.
“To get into the first-team you have to be playing good all the time. We have to keep working hard if we want to get where Jack is. That is where we all want to be.”
Wilshere, who won the PFA Young Player of the Year award, has made 47 appearances for the Gunners this season.
