Luanda — The Angolan national junior athletics team will participate on 12-15 May in the African cup of Nations in Gaborone in Botswana.
This was said to Angop on Tuesday by the chairman of the Angolan Athletics Federation (FAA), Carlos Rosa.
According to him, the Angolan delegation is comprised by five runners and the athletes left on Tuesday for Gaberone city.
The runners are Felismina Cavela, Severino Vicente, Simão Matias of Ara da Gabela team of the central Kwanza Sul province, Prisca Baltazar of 1º de Agosto and Ervin Alves of Benfica of Portugal.
The delegation is led by the deputy chairman of FAA, Manuel Alfredo.
