Donadel looks unlikely to sign an extension to his contract that expires this summer at the Florence club meaning the former Italy Under-21 international will be able to leave on a free transfer.
The defensive midfielder has been a first-team regular this campaign, making 26 starts in Serie A for Fiorentina, who currently sit in ninth place.
Several clubs have shown an interest although Lippi has stated one club is very keen, although the team in question remain unnamed.
“There is a side who have shown even more interest in Donadel than Genoa,” Lippi confirmed to TMW.
“There is nothing concrete, but we’re calm about the situation. A lot of clubs are interested in Marco Donadel.”
Donadel joined the Tuscan club in 2005 from Sampdoria and is likely to feature in Sunday’s home fixture against Bologna.
