Samir Nasri is not leaving Arsenal & negotiations for a new deal are ongoing – agent

Arsenal midfielder Samir Nasri has no intention of leaving the Emirates Stadium this summer despite reported interest from Italy, according to his agent.

The Frenchman has scored 15 goals for the club this season, and although he has only found the net once since mid-January he has been a key player for manager Arsene Wenger and was nominated for the PFA Player of the Year award.

His early-season form reportedly brought him to the attention of clubs around Europe although his agent insists that a move away from the Gunners is not on the cards.

“The interest from Juventus and Inter Milan? There is nothing with them,” Nasri’s agent Alain Migliaccio told calciomercato.it.

“There is no break with Arsenal, in fact, we start over negotiations for the extension of the contract which currently expires in 2012.”
