My removal political, sacked council boss

Yenagoa – Sacked chairman of Kolokuma-Opokuma Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, Mr. Ebikitin Diongoli has described as political his removal from office by the state House of Assembly.  Diongoli, who insisted that his removal was unconstitutional, said he will challeng same at the court.

Diongoli supporters have, meanwhile dismissed the accusations against him, alleging that the House violated laid down procedure for the removal of elected council chairman in his sack.
