FORMER Enyimba captain, Ajibade Omolade, is confident of a move to South Africa’s Premier Soccer League side, SuperSport United.
Omolade, who recently left struggling Nigeria Premier League side, Plateau United, picked his visa on Thursday and is expected to travel this weekend for a two-week trial with the former South African champions.
SuperSport United believe the Nigerian can boost the defence as plans continue to make the team stronger next term after dominating the PSL in the last three seasons.
The club’s coach, Gavin Hunt has already started to rebuild the team as former South African International, Sibusiso Zuma and Mame Niang, the Senegal striker, who is a past winner of the Premier Soccer League’s top scorer award as well as Carara Kick’s Malawian International, Atusaye Nyondo, the National First Division’s top scorer have since signed pre-contracts.
“I’m fully concentrated on the assignment ahead at Super United. It’s an opportunity I consider unique because of the status of the club and the PSL. The club wants to see me as they continue to plan ahead for the new season in South Africa.
