No matter what you think about Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings, no one can resist admiring her courage. In the face of the glaring evidence that she doesn’t have a dog’s chance of winning the National Democratic Congress’ presidential race, she has gone ahead to pick up nominations forms.
So far all 10 regional executive committees of the NDC have endorsed Professor John Evans Atta Mills. Even Konadu loyalists like Deputy Finance Minister Fifi Kwetey have all thrown their weight behind incumbent President Mills.
Sources from the Mills cap say the President is up beat about the July Congress. Some Ministers have predicted a landslide victory for Professor Mills.
Nana Konadu’s confidence in pushing forward in spite of what appears to be the glaring evidence may be based on what the rest of us may not fathom.
She probably knows something we don’t know.
