Dimewars.com :    Country singer Shania Twain is bouncing back from a few rough years with a new show “Why Not” on Oprah’s OWN network and a new memoir “From This Moment”. After years away from the limelight, Shania Twain sat down with Oprah to recap her turmoil and eventual recovery.

Twain who divorced her husband of 14 years after he allegedly cheated with her best friend Marie-Anne Thiebaud said she will always be “heartbroken” her marriage ended. Shania shared with Oprah,

“I lost my sense of trust, honesty and compassion. I crashed down and became what I consider an emotional mess. I’ve never been so miserable in my whole life. I just wanted to go to bed and never get up.”

Though Shania’s ex husband and former best friend never admitted their affair, Shania has since moved on – to her former best friend’s ex-husband. Yes – twisted – but Shania says it’s a good twist.
