Luanda — The MP of the ruling MPLA party João Melo said on Tuesday in Luanda that the Angolan constitution secures the citizen’s freedom of expression and information.
The MP said so to Angop while addressing the theme on “Discrimination in journalism”.
The MP said that all Angolans enjoy freedom of expressing his feeling, thoughts, as well as divulging freely his ideas and opinion, both through words, gestures or images, by assuring the freedom of information without any discrimination.
João Melo said that freedom of expression has some limits according to the law, which is based on the protection and guarantee of the right to a good name, image and word, including the intimacy of citizen’s life.
