Olympique Marseille and France legend Basile Boli says he feels happy to watch Jordan and Andre Ayew play in the club shirt.
The Ivorian-born defender was a team-mate of the duo’s father Abedi Pele who guided Marseille to Uefa Champions League glory in the 1993.
Boli said he witnessed the birth of the promising stars and he is not surprised that have risen to the top at at Stade Velodrome.
“It’s hard to talk about them, I saw them at birth. Every time I see them, they call me Uncle to everybody, I’m so happy especially since they play for Marseille. In the talent they have something Abedi. But for size, they took their mother. That’s for sure! ” Boli said.
Andre was voted Marseille’s player of the month of April while Jordan Ayew has been playing cameo roles in the team’s title campaign.
