Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez is set to be fit to play Stoke in the FA Cup final, according to The Sun.

Tevez has been missing for City after injuring his hamstring against Liverpool on April 11 but it is thought he will recover in time to take part in City’s first major final since 1981.

The Argentine striker, who could also feature in the pivotal home game against Tottenham next week, has scored 22 goals in 40 appearances so far this season, but only two of those have come in his last 12 games.

City face Stoke in the final after beating rivals Manchester United in the semi-finals last month, while in the Premier League, Tuesday’s game against Tottenham will go a long way to determining who will finish fourth in the league.

Following Sunday’s 2-1 over bottom side West Ham, City travel to Goodison Park to play Everton this weekend as they look to secure the fourth spot in the Champions League for next season.

City have never played in the Champions League before and were knocked out of the Europa League by Dinamo Kiev in March.
