Tottenham are believed to be targeting a move for £12 million-rated Espanyol forward Pablo Osvaldo, with Harry Redknapp having travelled to watch the player.

The Buenos Aires-born forward has been in fine form in La Liga this season, scoring 11 goals and providing three assists in 20 league appearances this term.

Now The Mirror reports that Spurs boss Redknapp personally travelled to watch the player in action during a recent game against Athletic Bilbao, during which the 25-year-old scored one and created another in a victory for his side.

It has also been reported that Spurs would need to sell fringe players before they can buy during the summer.

Osvaldo is rated by the Castrol EDGE Rankings as the 417th best player currently plying his trade in one of the top five leagues in Europe.
