A retired Supreme Court judge, Justice Yao Kpegah, has categorically stated that come what may the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will lose the 2012 General Elections.
In a speech read on his behalf at the official launch of Nana Konadu’s campaign to challenge President Mills for the flagbearership slot to lead the NDC in the 2012 general elections, the former Supreme Court Judge all but wagered with his life that no matter the current happenings in the NDC, there is no way the NPP will be voted back to power in 2012.
The campaign launch, preceded by drumming and dancing by numerous supporters of the former First Family, is being attended by several dignitaries including chiefs from across the country, particularly from the Volta Region.
Some executive members of the NDC, the diplomatic corps, religious leaders and members of the media are also present to witness the event.
