Jamie Carragher praises ‘outstanding’ Luis Suarez & insists Kenny Dalglish is always the main man at Liverpool

Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has showered praise on team-mate Luis Suarez for the impact he has had at the club.

The 24-year-old, who joined the club in the January transfer window, has made a positive start to his career on Merseyside, scoring three goals.

Now the centre-back believes that the new arrival has had a significant impact in the club’s change in fortunes, but admits that manager Kenny Dalglish has been the most influential figure in the revival.

“Of course, the manager is always the main man and takes most plaudits, but for me Luis Suarez has been outstanding,” Carragher said, according to The Mirror.

“We all think after watching him for five or six games that he is a player – we can all see that, and he has made a big difference to us. Maybe not as much as the manager, but a big one.”
