Bradley left Connacht last season
Michael Bradley will take charge of Edinburgh Rugby next season, replacing interim head coach Nick Scrivener.
Bradley, capped 40 times by Ireland as a player, is currently assisting the Georgian national side having left Connacht last season.
Former Ireland and current USA head coach Eddie O’Sullivan had been strongly linked with the post.
Scrivener is returning to his native Australia after Friday’s final Magners League fixture away to Treviso.
Former scrum-half Bradley, 48, took over at Connacht in 2003 and has also had spells as head coach of Ireland’s under-21 and ‘A’ teams.
Edinburgh will announce Bradley’s appointment at a press conference at 1330 BST on Tuesday.
