The new Duke and Duchess of Cambridge posed in Buckingham Palace’s Throne Room surrounded by family and their bridesmaids and page boys – The Hon. Margarita Armstrong-Jones, Miss Eliza Lopes, Miss Grace van Cutsem, Lady Louise Windsor, Master Tom Pettifer and Master William Lowther-Pinkerton.

Photographer Hugo Burnand, who has snapped many celebrities including Victoria Beckham and Michael Jackson, took the shots and described the job as ‘the gig of the century’.

‘From where I was, and from their point of view, it was two families coming together and that was the feeling – the sense of family and love going between everyone,’ he tells the Daily Mail.
