Job Description:

Our client SAVANNAH ACCELERATED DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (SADA) is an independent agency mandated by the Government of Ghana to coordinate a comprehensive development agenda for the Northern Savannah Ecological Zone of Ghana. To achieve the agenda of promoting sustainable economic and social development, eradicating poverty, and improving quality of life, SADA seeks experienced professionals to join its senior management team.

Your role:
Reporting to the Director, Integrated Development Programmes, the Coordinator will be responsible for actual operationalisation of detailed plans that will translate corporate strategy into implementation and costed plans

Duty Location: Tamale and the Northern Savannah Area

 

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of Masters degree in  planning, political science, economics, engineering, agriculture, social science, or allied fields in development studies
  • Member of recognised professional association
  • Minimum 10 years experience, 5 at senior management level in public/private sector, or international organisation
  • Significant experience in development and strategic planning, and research
  • Experience in socio-economic, environmental and infrastructure modelling
  • Knowledge of planning and zoning laws, regulations and best practice
  • Proficient in GIS related software
  • Candidates must be literate in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications
