Blackpool defender Ian Evatt is regarding the club’s remaining fixtures as a three-game season after an point was secured against Stoke City on Saturday.

“Stoke have been on fire in recent weeks and to keep them to a few chances and get a clean sheet is definitely a positive,” he told his club’s official website.

“It was hard going out there with the weather but any point at this time at the season is a point gained.

“It’s another game out of the way and we’re still not in there so we’ve got a three-game season now.

“I’m more than confident that if we carry on playing like we have done in the last couple of games then we’ll be OK.

“I believe that three more points will be enough. We’ll be going for them next week and if we don’t get them then we’ll be looking to beat Bolton at home.”
