Reports reaching peacefmonline.com say the incumbent MP for Tarkwa Nsuaem in the Western Region, Gifty Eugenia Kusi, has been retained after polling 363 of the delegates’ votes.
Her main challenger, Duker Mireku, the former Municipal Chief Executive for Tarkwa Nsuaem polled 241.
At Sekondi, also in the Western region, incumbent Papa Owusu Ankomah has won with 143 votes.
Delegates at the Twifu/Ati/Morkwaa constituency have also endorsed Mr Abraham Dwuma Odoom as their parliamentary candidate for the 2012 elections.
