Queens Park Rangers manager Neil Warnock feels achieving promotion for the London club is his greatest professional achievement.

QPR secured entry into the English Premier League next season with a 2-0 victory away to Watford Saturday thereby winning the English Championship.

It was particularly satisfying for Warnock after his side were relegation contenders just a year ago.

“It’s a wonderful feeling. I think it’s the best job I’ve ever done,” Wanock told Sky Sports.
 
“I’ve got other promotions but not in such a short space of time, in 13 months from battling relegation to winning the Championship.

“Over the season the players have been magnificent. I can’t fault any of them.”

Elation was somewhat overshadowed following potential charges from the FA concerning alleged breaches of third-party ownership and agency laws.

The FA will be hearing the charges on Tuesday with a decision expected on Friday.

“I just get on with winning games,” the QPR boss said regarding the charges.

“When I looked at the coverage, it destroyed us. The place was like a morgue.

“We’re all guessing. W have to wait until Friday. I’m happy with what my barrister has told me.

“I don’t fear anything, I was brought in to win promotion and that’s what I’ve done.

“You can do without it as a manager but you’ve got to get on with it.

“I’ll be glad when it’s over and then I can talk about it.”
