SEOUL, South Korea (AP)—Miguel Angel Jimenez and Brett Rumford share the clubhouse lead at 10-under-par after bad weather forced an suspension of the third round of the Ballantine’s Championship on Saturday.
Jimenez of Spain made an ideal start to the day with consecutive birdies at the first and second holes, then birdied the eighth from 15 feet to reach No. 9 before play was abandoned.
Overnight leader Rumford of Australia made par on his first six holes before a bogeying the par-three seventh. He recovered with a birdie on No. 8 to regain a share of the lead.
Welshman Rhys Davies is in third place at eight-under-par with seven holes remaining, while world No. 1 Lee Westwood of England is tied for 11th at six-under-par through 12 holes.
