Somovision, the retail arm of Somotex Ghana Limited, the accredited distributor of LG and Philips products in Ghana has presented some electrical appliances to support this year’s “Elektra funfair” of the SOS Hermain Gmeiner International College.
The funfair the initiative of the school tasks first year students of International Baccalaureate (IB) to raise funds to enable the school give back to the society through community service projects.
For twenty-years of existence, the funds generated through such activities has contributed tremendously to reaching the school’s community service goals in the areas of literacy, water and sanitation projects etc.
The key features of this year project is that more children in the beneficiary communities go to school and learn in a safe classrooms, improvement in the quality of teaching and learning and bridging the digital divide by providing access to ICT.
