Mai-Dima town has registered a marked growth over the past 20 years, according to the head of developmental activities of the town, Mr. Kiflom Gebrezgiabiher.
Noting that the town in the past lacked basic provisions, Mr. Kiflom stated that presently the population enjoys services of potable water as well as modern market for vegetables, fruits and cereals and that the number commercial have shown a significant increase. He also went on to elaborate that the town now has 8 schools and a hospital.
Over the years, according to Mr. Kiflom 846 nationals have been allotted land and that the population now enjoys transportation services to nearby town and cities.
Mai-Dima is located 60 Km. to the east of Mendefera.
