Cabinda — The director of the Medical Department of Chevron, Ana Ruth Luis, Wednesday reaffirmed her company’s determination to continue working with the Government, communities and other partners to eradicate malaria in the country.
The official made this consideration during an act promoted by Chevron aimed at raising awareness within its employees and wider community on danger of malaria, to help spread the message of education about the reality of the epidemic that afflicts many Africans and on basic measures for prevention.
He stressed that the multinational company understands that it is necessary the ongoing joint effort of everyone so that the rates of malaria in Angola continue to fall.
“Our company reaffirms its commitment to supporting the efforts of the Ministry of Health and its social partners in combating malaria, thus contributing to reducing the death toll that this disease has caused,” said the director.
