Management of such offices does not end with the award of contracts for the construction of school blocks, and with regional party executives following sheepishly.

It would be interesting to find out how such a man called doctor fared in the consulting room. He could have been putting off his patients, lacking what it takes to be a successful physician or surgeon.
Such a quality goes beyond examination success at the Medical School. It is regrettable that such a man is holding a public office. In a President Mills government, need we be surprised? Ex-President Rawlings and his spouse would best explain such appointment aberrations.
Undeniably, there is a symbiotic relationship between the media and politicians, which evidently, is beyond the ken of reckless novices in political office like this punk .
The subtlety of language is an important prerequisite for holding the important office of minister of state, a representative of the President.
Situations where excited government appointees go overboard and foul the atmosphere with preposterous remarks will not be tolerated.
Some say the Eastern Regional Minister, new in the seat and perhaps overstressed in the face of choosing between the candidacies of Mills, the man who appointed him and Mrs. Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings, should be pardoned. We think otherwise.
Unsurprisingly, the party’s regional organiser’s intervention, when he was accused of threatening to have a reporter beaten up, did not help matters. After all, he took a cue from the minister when he unashamedly said it is a convention to resort to the barbarous conduct of organizing the beating of a journalist when it is discovered that he has published untruths.
The NDC is in trouble, having assembled characters like the minister and party organizer because such persons are not helping the stature of a political grouping that is facing a huge challenge as regards its image.
With such persons at the helm, why would Rawlings and his spouse not seek to take back their party?
