Civics will play against Tigers in a Round 20 MTC Premiership encounter tonight evening at the Sam Nujoma Stadium (20h00).
The two teams both have 25 points, and are in the bottom half of the log standings. Tigers are seventh while Civics are ninth on the log as they have an inferior goal difference.
Both teams are out of the running to win the league but still stand a chance to finish second or third provided they win their three remaining matches.
The NPL this year announced that only the first-, second- and third-placed teams would get prize money.
The winners are set to win an unprecedented N$1 million while the second- and third-placed teams will receive N$300 000 and N$200 000 respectively.
In the first half of the league, Civics came away with a 1-0 win over Tigers through a second-half goal from Lindon Aseb, who has since joined Swakopmund-based Blue Boys.
Tigers will have the services of Ananias Gebhardt, Pineas Jacob and Letu Shatimuene in front while Civics will be relying on Costa Khaiseb and captain Heini Isaacs to score the goals.
