Manchester City have reportedly made Napoli forward Edinson Cavani their top transfer target for the summer.

City have been spending heaving during previous transfer windows to add new players to their squad, and the influx of quality has seen the side looking to achieve Champions League football.

Palermo loaned out the 24-year-old to Napoli last year, and the forward has gone on to score 33 goals in 43 appearances during his temporary move.

Now The Times reports that the Eastlands club have made Cavani their top transfer target, and are also interested in acquiring the services of Udinese’s Alexis Sanchez.

But it has been reported that City’s interest in the two players is dependent on who leaves the club at the end of the season.
