The agent of Napoli forward Ezequiel Lavezzi claims that his client has been tracked by Liverpool for the past 12 months.

Despite the signings of Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez in the January transfer window, the Reds have been linked with a move for another forward to add competition for the duo.

And now Lavezzi’s agent, Jose Alberti, says Liverpool could make a move for him in the summer.

“Lavezzi has been followed by Liverpool for 12 months and they could make a bid for his services,” Alberti, said, according to talkSPORT.
