Goal of the Job:
The successful candidate shall be responsible for directing, coordinating and planning the warehouse storage and distribution of products and materials within the company. The role reports to the Procurement, Logistics & Customer Operations Manager.
Planning and Stock Management:
Absolute responsibility for all materials receipts into stock
Provide information for the update of the raw and packaging materials stock as well as the Finished Goods stock as a database for production planning and sales forecasting, and to provide at every point in time the availability stock of both raw and packaging materials and finished goods
Supplier Payments:
Ensure all documents required by finance for payment to be effected are submitted within 2 days after goods have been received
Managing Functions:
Manage trucking and distribution schedules and loading to our key distributors and other customers
Supervise the activities of the warehouse supervisor
Appraise performance of immediate subordinates
Required Skills or Experience
A good first degree or Professional Certificate in Purchasing and Supply Management and/or Higher Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (C.I.P.S. UK)
5 years working experience with the last 2 in a similar position
