Mourinho: Angered at result after Real were beaten 2-0 at home by Barcelona

Barcelona have confirmed that their legal department is looking at comments made by Jose Mourinho following their UEFA Champions League semi-final first leg clash.

Barca won the heated game 2-0 at the Santiago Bernabeu, but it was a bad-tempered, highly-charged affair which saw three red cards.

Barcelona’s sub goalkeeper Jose Manuel Pinto was sent off at the interval as the two opposition benches clashed going down the tunnel.

Then Pepe was sent off midway through the second half for a challenge on Dani Alves and that led to Mourinho being sent to the stands as he questioned the officials.

After the match Mourinho fumed at both Barca, the officials and Uefa.

Now Barca are considering whether to make an official complaint to Uefa – who look certain to take some action against the Portuguese tactician, who will already be in trouble for being sent off.

Barca said on their website: “Barcelona’s legal department will study the

declarations made by Jose Mourinho to determine whether to refer them to Uefa.

“In the post-match press conference, Jose Mourinho severely criticised the

referee (Wolfgang) Stark and insinuated that Uefa treated Barcelona favourably.”
