Three nurses and a security man working at the Barnor Hospital, a private hospital in Accra have been arrested to assist with investigations into the disappearance of a new born baby girl from the facility. The incident occurred during the Easter break and according to the Public Relations Officer of the Domestic Violence and Victims Support Unit (DOVVSU), Chief Inspector Irene Oppong; the suspects were arrested as they were the ones on duty at the time of the theft.  They have since been granted police enquiry bail by the Dansoman Police

Nicklas Bendtner has rubbished reports that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is ready to sell him after it emerged the Frenchman may be looking to cash in on the Danish international.

The 23-year-old has a contract at the Emirates until 2014 but a lack of playing time has left him frustrated and he had previously expressed a desire to leave, but had back-tracked on that stance.

He has made only three Premier League starts this season but insists there is no intention from the club for him to be sold.

“I have certainly talked to Wenger,” Bendtner told Sporten.dk.

“But he has not told me that I should look for a new club to play for after the summer or that he is not satisfied with me.”
