Rovers duo set to make Cup return

Briscoe picked up his knee injury in a collision with Chris Flannery

Hull Kingston Rovers could have Shaun Briscoe and Liam Colbon back for the Challenge Cup trip to York.

Briscoe injured his knee against St Helens in March, while winger Colbon has a hamstring injury.

Coach Justin Morgan told BBC Radio Humberside: “We are looking at most probably a couple more weeks for Briscoe and Colbon.

“However, Clint Newton is expected to be on the sidelines for at least another week after that.”

The match at the Huntington Stadium takes place on Sunday, 8 May.
