Menongue — The Chinese Company (CAMCE Enginering Lda) presented on Tuesday in Menongue city, eastern Kuando-Kubango province, the project of rice production.
Angop learnt that the project will be implemented in Longa locality in the farm named “Fazenda Agro-industrial do longa”.
The project, which was approved by by the Angolan government, was signed in 2010 between the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development, Fisheries and Environment in the ambit of the credit line of China.
The contract is estimated at over USD 76.0 million.
