Nairobi — KenolKobil has acquired a modern depot complex in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania from World Oil Limited on a 25 year long term lease deal.
The depot will be under the firm’s management from July 1, 2011.
“The new high capacity depot will provide adequate product storage for KenolKobil Group Export Markets, including exports to Malawi and Eastern Democratic Republic Congo,” the firm said in a statement on Wednesday.
The depot will provide bulk cargo storage for existing and new markets and will enhance the firm’s trading activities along the Indian Ocean major ports in Africa.
