The case of former Inspector General of Police Ensa Badjie and former Police Prosecutor Tijan Badjie on Wednesday 20th April failed to proceed before Acting Principal Magistrate Alagbe Taiwo Ade of the Banjul Magistrates’ Court.
When the case was called, Tijan Badjie, the second accused, told the court that his counsel, Lawyer Lamin Mboge, and the first accused Ensa Badjie are at the High Court in Banjul.
The Director of Public Prosecution told the court that they have learnt that Ensa Badjie is before Justice Amadi of the said Court.
The Matter was subsequently adjourned to the 2nd May 2011 for continuation of hearing.
