Garowe — The semi-autonomous regional administration of Puntland on Tuesday accused Al shabaab, which fights in southern and central Somalia, to be responsible the insecurity activities in the regions under Puntland control.
In a news conference held in Garowe, he capital of Puntland adimstration, Yusuf Ahmed Kheyr, the home security minister of Puntland talked about the latest spate of violence that has rocked many parts of regional administration.
Mr,. Kheyr mentioned that the security forces have managed t seize a lot of people in connection with the growing violence in the region.
He said that all apprehended would tried, adding that any one, who acquitted accusations, would be released soon.
On Sunday, a prominent Somali elder gunned down by unknown men armed with pistols at the center of Bosaso, the commercial tow of Puntland about 1500 KM north of Mogadishu.
