Luanda — The voting for the 21st edition of the 2011 “Top dos Mais Queridos” music contest was opened on Monday countrywide.
This was said to Angop on Monday by the co-ordinator of the event, Salú Gonçalves.
According to him, the contest will pay homage to the music instrument dubbed “Ngoma” (Drum).
The coordinator said that conditions are created so that citizens may vote for their favourite song and musician in the coupon available in all radio stations countrywide.
The contest is aimed at promoting and valuing the national music and artist.
The award is set for 1 October at Luanda’s Talatona Convention Centre.
The 2010 “Top dos Mais Queridos” contest was won by singer Yola Semedo with the song entitled “Injusta”.
