Terry and Mourinho are known to have had a good relationship during their time together at the Blues, and the Portuguese boss wants to be reunited with his former captain at Santiago Bernabeu.
Although Madrid have plenty of central defensive options in the form of Pepe, Ricardo Carvalho, Raul Albiol and Sergio Ramos, the former Inter and Porto tactician wants the presence of the England international for the 2011-12 campaign.
With Terry suffering from a difficult season and Brazilian David Luiz emerging as a defensive star at Stamford Bridge, there may be a chance that Chelsea will listen to an offer from the Spanish capital.
