Contactmusic : Orlando Bloom studied his favourite bands, including Oasis and the Stone Roses, to get tips for his performance as a rock singer in ‘Sympathy for Delicious’.
The actor stars with Juliette Lewis in ‘Sympathy for Delicious’ as the frontman of an aspiring rock band and he studied the stage presence of his favourite musicians in order to make his portrayal convincing.
Asked who inspired his performance, he said: “I was thinking of some of the great musicians in England who came from the North.
There’s The Beatles and The Stones and stuff, but for me, my generation had Ian Brown from The Stone Roses and the Gallagher brothers from Oasis.
