Fulham manager Mark Hughes is hoping to hand Philippe Senderos his debut for the club before the end of the season.
The Switzerland international has yet to appear for the club after rupturing his Achilles in pre-season shortly after completing a free transfer from London rivals Arsenal.
Hughes confirmed that the defender is now taking a full part in training and could make his long-awaited appearance before the season concludes.
“Philippe’s doing really well. He hasn’t got the fitness of the majority of the squad because of the time he has had out,” Hughes told the Fulham Chronicle.
“We would like to get Philippe a taste of the action but we will have to wait and see.”
As well as appearing for Arsenal, the 26-year-old has also previously played for Everton and Italian giants AC Milan.
