Probe into Ivory Coast’s mass killings

Human rights groups such as Amnesty International are investigating reports of mass killings and other abuses in Ivory Coast – violations they allege were committed by forces loyal to Alassane Ouattarra, the president-elect.

Laurent Gbagbo, the former leader’s soldiers are also alleged to have committed crimes during months of post-election violence.

Haru Mutasa travelled to the village of Carrefour in western Ivory Coast where mass killings are said to have taken place.
